Bettie Jane Berliner

Bettie Jane Meadows Berliner, age 94, of Asheboro died Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 11:00 am at Oaklawn Cemetery. Mrs. Berliner was born in Clifton Forge, VA on May 25, 1920 to Lewis Allen and Mary Thayer Meadows. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Asheboro. In addition to her parents, Bettie was preceded in death by her husband Ernst Berliner. She is survived by her sons, Ernest Berliner and wife Charlotte of Asheboro, Roger Berliner of Asheboro; grandchildren, Ryan Berliner and wife Erin of Chicago, IL, Kate Yarboro and husband Adam of Cameron, Berri Drozd and husband Jay of Huntersville, Max Berliner of Raleigh, Luke Berliner of Charlotte; 3 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; and God-daughter, Charlene and John Maresca and son, Michael of Smith Mountain Lake, VA.
