Bessie Loflin

Bessie Nelson Loflin, age 88, of Coleridge died Friday, October 17, 2008 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed Carter officiating. Burial will be in Flag Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Loflin, the daughter of Newton and Bertha Pickett Nelson, was born on April 10, 1920 in Guilford County, NC. She was a homemaker and a member of Concord United Methodist Church in Coleridge. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Loflin was preceded in death by her husband, James Curtis Loflin. She is survived by her sons, Darrell Loflin of the home, James C. "J.C." Loflin, Jr. and his wife AnnaRae of Ramseur, NC; grandson, Donald Ray Loflin and his wife Carol of Ramseur, NC; great grandchildren, Donnie Ray Loflin, C. J. Loflin and Allen Loflin all of Ramseur, NC. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 7 to 9 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
