Bessie Lee Jordan

Bessie Lee Hill Jordan, age 90, of Asheboro died Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro.

Mrs. Jordan was born July 1, 1927 in Moore County to Gutherie and Blanche Hill. She was a homemaker and a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church in Sanford. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Willie Carl Jordan, brother, Webster Hill and sister, Nora Monroe.

She is survived by her sons, Wayne Jordan and wife Pat of Graham, Joel Jordan and wife Rita of Asheboro; sister, Helen Stutts; brothers, Bob Hill of High Falls, Sam Hill of Southern Pines; 5 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 5, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, 1313 Cool Springs Rd., Sanford with Rev. Tim Burriss officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service in the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Cool Springs Baptist Church, 1313 Cool Springs Rd., Sanford, NC 27330.
