Bertha Leona Stringer

Bertha Leona Ingold Stringer, age 91, of 1070 Cliffwood Dr. and formerly of 860 Danwood St.., Asheboro died Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Stringer was born March 1, 1916 at Franklinville, NC the daughter of Chesley Oakwell and Luvila Humble Ingold. She was a native of Randolph County and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Stringer. She is survived by two daughters: Linda Edwards of Charlotte, NC, Brenda Stringer of Asheboro, NC; one sister: Mable Hethcock of Asheboro, NC; 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren The family will receive friends Tuesday January 29, 2008 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Wednesday January 30, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Vernon McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
