Bernice Tucker Allen

Bernice Tucker Allen, age 92, formerly of Worthville, died Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Dan Absher officiating. Mrs. Allen was a native of Guilford County and was a graduate of Grimsley High School. She was a member and a former Sunday School teacher at Randleman First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She is survived by her husband, Willie Alton Allen; stepson, Joe Allen of Ramseur, NC; grandson, Jeffrey Allen; niece, Carolyn Brown and her husband Kenneth of Greensboro, NC; cousins, Jackie Starr of Worthville, NC and Don Setlock of Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 20, 2008 from 1:00-2:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
