Berlin Lester Lawson

Berlin Lester “Berl” Lawson, age 83, of Randleman died Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation.

Mr. Lawson was born October 27, 1934 in Palaski, VA to George Marion and Mary Lawson. 

He was a US Air Force veteran and attended Giles Chapel United Methodist Church.  Mr. Lawson was formerly employed with Klopman Mills of Asheboro and Sara Lee of Asheboro.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Lawson was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Gracie Saunders Lawson; nephews, Carlton and Terry White of Wytheville, VA and several other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro.  Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Lee and Rev. Wayne Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Giles Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
