Beatrice Crow Thomas, age 87, formerly of Asheboro died Monday, September 9, 2013 at The Inn at Quail Haven Village, Pinehurst.
Mrs. Thomas was a native of Oglethorpe County, GA and worked on airplanes in Warner Robbins, GA during the war effort. She was retired from Union Carbide and was a member of Dogwood Acres Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Thomas was a faithful member of her church and had a very strong faith in her Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Thomas in 1989.
She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn McCaskill and her husband Jimmy of West End; son, Darrell Thomas and his wife Sharon of Hickory; grandchildren, Angela Pinyan and her husband Robert of Clemmons, Kelly Tolley of Lexington, Jonathan McCakill and his wife Elaine of Salisbury; great grandchildren, Kayla and Jillian Tolley, Asher Smith, Brandan Pinyan, Lynley McCaskill; sisters, Nelda Crow of Dublin, GA, Juanita Mitchell of Macon, GA; brothers, Robert Crow of Plano, TX, Thomas Crow and Rhea Crow both of Dublin, GA, Davis Crow and Dennis Crow both of Macon, GA.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Dogwood Acres Presbyterian Church with Rev. Joseph Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro.
