Beatrice Haithcock Rich

Beatrice Haithcock Rich, age 85, of 643 S. McCrary St., Asheboro died Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Randolph Hospice House. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 12, 2012 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will follow on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marion Smith officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mrs. Rich was born in Montgomery County on March 23, 1927 to Charles and Ethel Ingold Haithcock. In addition to her parents, Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband Harold Rich and her son Kevin Rich. Beatrice was a loving mother and grandmother and liked sewing and tending her flower garden. She was happiest when her house was full of children. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Mullis and her husband Buddy of Brown Summit, NC, Donna Rich of the home; son, Marty Rich and his wife Gay of Troy, NC; grandchildren, Missy Hoopingarner and her husband Scott of Charlotte, NC, Mary Alcaras and her husband Justin of Denton, NC, and Rachel Rich of Charlotte, NC; great grandchildren, Taylor Hoopingarner, Isaiah Alcaras, and Braden Mulllis Hoopingarner.
