Beatrice Wallace Kennedy

Beatrice Wallace Kennedy, age 94, formerly of George York Rd. Randleman, died Monday, May 26, 2008 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the Asheboro City Cemetery. Mrs. Kennedy was a lifelong resident of Randolph County, was formerly employed with Acme-McCrary Corporation, and was a homemaker. She was an active member of Central Falls Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Kennedy and her nephew, Johnny Samuel Ester. Beatrice loved to travel and cook. She is survived by her nieces, Mary Edythe Parks, Betty Lou Purvis, Patsyanna Barker, Teana Halby, Delores Burton, Hilda Pickett, Louise Crouse; nephews, Wallace Garner, Wilson Garner, Fred Garner, Herbert Garner; great nieces, Tammy Wall, Allison Bell, Joanna Collette; great nephews, Johnny Ester and Brian Ester. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at the home of Bill and Patsy Barker, 1506 Westmont Ct., Asheboro.
