Beatrice "Cricket" Faye Saunders York

Beatrice Faye "Cricket" Saunders York, age 62, of Asheboro passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Randolph Hospice House. Ms. York was born in Randolph County on May 5, 1955 to Eldridge and Almeta Glasgow Saunders. She was formerly employed with Luck's Beans, Inc. and Cranford Iron & Metal. In addition to her parents, Beatrice was preceded in death by her brother, Sherman Saunders. She is survived by her boyfriend, Roy Odell Beane of Asheboro; and brother, Steve Saunders of High Point. A graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 4:00 pm in the Mt. Tabor Community Church Cemetery, Mt. Tabor Church Road in Asheboro with Chaplain Tim Pheagin officiating. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the family.
