Barry Dean Lee

Barry Dean Lee, age 64, of Badin Lake passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the Randolph Hospice House.

Mr. Lee was born in Burlington on July 24, 1953 to H. B. Lee, Jr. and Barbara Gerringer Lee. He was a 1971 graduate of Southern Alamance High School. Barry was employed at Tri-City Mechanical in Greensboro and was the former owner/operator of Lee Mechanical Contractors. Barry was preceded in death by his son, Justin Lee, father, H.B. Lee, Jr., grandparents, Herbert and Delphia Lee and Clyde and Sarah Gerringer. Barry loved racing motorcycles and jet skis. He enjoyed hunting and all water sports.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Glenn Lee; son, Dean Lee of the home; mother, Barbara G. Lee Andrews of Burlington; sister, Donna Lee Finch and husband Jack Finch of Greensboro; sister-in-law, Kala Glenn Pruitt and husband Kenny of Burlington; and uncle, S. Lee Gerringer of Columbia, SC.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Rushwood Park Wesleyan Church, 1810 Old Farmer Road, Asheboro with Dr. Brent Tysinger officiating. A reception will follow the service in the church fellowship hall.
