Barbara Church Parker

Barbara Church Parker, age 74, of 5422 Covered Bridge Rd., Trinity died Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 5, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Sawyersville Wesleyan Church with Rev. Darrell Rabon and Rev. Jeff Garner officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Community Church Cemetery. Mrs. Parker was a born in Danville, VA, a member of Sawyersville Wesleyan Church and retired from Fine Line Hosiery. She loved her yard, swimming pool and flowers, but most of all, she loved her family. Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Parker and her grandson, Steven Parker. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Doris Parker of Asheboro, David and Marlene Parker of Seagrove; daughters and sons-in-laws, Debra and Wiley Hunt of Farmer, Linda and Richard Nance of Farmer, Janet and Ken Lambeth of Thomasville, Annie Parker of Trinity; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Mack Parker of Trinity; brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Pam Church of Trinity The family will receive friends Thursday, March 4, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
