Barbara Lee Nance

Mrs. Barbara Lee Jarrell Nance 89 of Asheboro passed away peacefully at her home Friday morning, June 21, 2024 surrounded by her family.  Mrs. Nance worked for the Courier Tribune for over 50 years here in Asheboro.  She loved to decorate her home and working in her flowers which she was well known to have beautiful flowers.  Mrs. Nance loved to do crafts, any type or kind of crafts and also loved her quilts.

Mrs. Nance is survived by two sons, Darrell Nance of Seagrove and Frank (Mardi) Nance of Columbia, SC.  Two grandchildren Jeremy Nance and Rebecca Pritchett.  One sister-in-law Annie Jarrell and one daughter-in-law Rebecca Phillips.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Nance will be held 11:00 am Thursday, June 27, 2024 at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel,437 Sunset Ave Asheboro, NC by the Rev. Jon Shook. Visitation for Mrs. Nance will be Thursday from 10:00 - 10:50 followed by the service.  Interment will follow at the Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro NC.
