Barbara Ann Lockhart

Barbara Ann Snow Lockhart, age 71, of Randleman died Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston- Salem. Mrs. Lockhart was born in Elkhorn, West Virginia; she retired from the Radisson Hotel in High Point, and attended Highland Baptist Church in High Point. She and Mr. Lockhart were married February 28, 1963. She is survived by her husband of 47 years: Arlen Lockhart, five daughters: Mary Phillips and her husband James of Sophia, NC, Caroline Lockhart of Winston Salem, NC, Shelia Myers and her husband Jerry of High Point, NC, Laura Brazen of Sophia, NC, Brenda Bailey and her husband Robert of Princeton, WV; one son: John Lockhart of South Amboy, NJ; two sisters: Jackie Gillespie of Bluefield, WV, and Jean Demarcy of Braswell, WV; one brother: William "Billy" Snow of Kernersville, NC; 20 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one grandchild. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 14th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church, 1204 Textile Place, High Point, NC and at other times at the home of her daughter, Laura Bazen 32912 Roy Farlow Road, Sophia. The funeral will be Wednesday, September 15th at 1:00 PM at Highland Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
