Barbara "Barb" Lee Young Hatfield

Barbara "Barb" Lee Young Hatfield, age 79, of Asheboro, formerly of Fairfield Glade, TN and Highland, MI passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Randolph Hospice House.

Mrs. Hatfield was born in Detroit, MI on January 22, 1940 to Harold and Virginia Crosby Young. She married her husband Ron on Friday, September 13th, 1974. Barb was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Knight and brother, Robert Young.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ronald Leslie "Ron" Hatfield; daughters, Leslie Long and husband Matt of Burlington, Pam Penner of Asheboro, and Stacey Tilbury and husband Randy of Ann Arbor, MI; grandchildren, Cecelia Holmes and husband Nate of Dupont, WA, Dan Roy of Kalamazoo, MI, Rob Roy of Kalamazoo, MI, Hunter Tilbury of Ann Arbor, MI, Connor Rauch of Asheboro, Grayson Long of Burlington, Porter Long of Burlington, and Blake Long of Burlington; and great grandchildren, Theodore and Adaline Holmes both of Dupont, WA.

A private service will be held at a later date.
