Barbara Ann Martin Beck

Barbara Ann Martin Beck, age 77, of Asheboro died Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Beck was born August 7, 1939 in Montgomery County and was of Baptist Faith. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, hunting and selling antiques, and loved her family. Barbara dearly loved her cats: Howie and BB. In addition to her parents; Enoch Martin and Annie Louise Wright Martin, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother: Pepper; two sisters: Mary Davidson and Bernice Bondurant. She is survived by her husband of 40 years: Howard Beck; daughter: Donna Smith and her husband, Chris; stepdaughter: Linda Robbins; stepson: Jeffrey Beck and his wife, Lisa all of Asheboro, NC; seven grandchildren: Christian Dylan Smith, Kayla Smith, Tanner Overman, Brittany Beck all of Asheboro, Ashley Beck of Boone, Ryan Stutz of Wilmington, Tyler Stutz of OK; one great grandchild: Addy Johnson of Asheboro and sister: Elaine Rizk of New Bern. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC., and other times at the home of her daughter: 2032 Zoo Parkway, Asheboro, NC.
