Barbara Fuller Allred of Asheboro passed away on Monday July 1st at Randolph Hospital. She was born in Trinity, N.C. to Cora Hicks Fuller and William (Will) Fuller. Barbara retired from Energizer in Asheboro where she worked for 25 years. She was also a member of First E&R Church in Asheboro. In retirement she loved working in her yard, cooking for friends, family and church. Being a life long Democrat she also volunteered and supported the Randolph County Democratic Womens Group. She was named their Volunteer of the Year in 2008.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by sisters Lillian Westmoreland, Everlyn Earnhardt, Ola Draughn and brother Wilbur (Buck) Fuller.
She is survived by daughter Jill Baxter (Mike) of Asheboro, sons Jeff Stout of Asheboro, Jonathan Stout of Forest Hills, NY, sister Estelle Hinesley of Asheboro, grandchildren Adam Baxter (Katie), Lauren Baxter, great grandchildren Bristol and Baylor Baxter and many dear nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at Clapp’s of Asheboro for their support and care.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 7th, 2024 from 2:00-3:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. A memorial service will follow on Sunday at 3:00 at the funeral home chapel with Pastor John Voncannon officiating.
