Banks Harold Kennedy

Banks Harold "Pap" Kennedy, age 84, of 426 Depot Street, Randleman died Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Kennedy was born January 23, 1927 the son of Julius Oscar and Viola Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy was a native of Randolph County and a US Marine Veteran of WWII. Pap was the former owner and operator of Pap's Package Store and a member of Whitehall Evangelical Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Annette Kennedy. He is survived by son: Charles "Chuck" & Emma Fruitt of Climax; daughters: Debbie McNeill and her husband, Ricky of Asheboro, and Teresa "Terri" Fruitt of Randleman; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be held Friday, June 10, 2011 at 11:00 am at White Hall Evangelical Methodist Church, , Randleman with Rev. Aaron Robbins officiating.
