Audrey Mae Latham

Audrey Mae Latham, age 89, of Asheboro died Saturday, December 24, 2016 at North Pointe Assisted Living Community, Randleman. Miss Latham was born August 25, 1927 the daughter of David and Josie Boone Latham. Audrey was born in High Point but spent most of her early life in Snow Camp, NC. She was a graduate of High Point College and taught school for many years at New Market Elementary, mostly 5th grade, and retired with the Randolph County School System. After retiring, she enjoyed traveling, visiting all 50 states, some multiple times. In addition to her parents, Audrey is preceded in death by two brothers: Harvey Leonard Latham, Carlee Boone and one sister: Nova Boone. She is survived by: sister-in-law: Jo Ann Latham of Graham, NC; niece: Cathie Jo Latham of Burlington, NC; niece: Janice L. Allred of Staley, NC; niece: Barbara L. Harrer of Graham, NC; great nephew: Harvey Flinchum; great niece, Sahnquail Jones of Graham, NC; and friend and caregiver: Brenda Lineberry of Asheboro, NC The Graveside Service will be Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro with Rev.
