Ashley Soto Cranford

Ashley Soto Cranford left her earthly body for a new body in heaven on July 7th, 2024.

Ashley was born to William (Bill) Soto and Tammy Soto on September 6, 1985. She was a dear, sweet child and grew into a beautiful woman who loved everyone she met. She only wanted good for all people and animals. Ashley was a true country girl. An avid animal lover, she made a home for dogs, cats, ducks, and her beloved chickens. Ashley faced many heartaches and sorrows in the 38 years our Lord God allowed us to have her. We are grateful she is home in heaven, where she will suffer no more. Her caring, loving, and beautiful soul may no longer be here on earth, but she will live in our hearts and memories. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Armando Soto, Sam and Bertha Strickland, and her stepfather, David Spaugh. 

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Jonathan Cranford, her sons Tate Shamey and Brennan Cranford, and the pride of her life, her daughter Nevaeh Cranford. Her father William (Bill) Soto and stepmother Hannah Soto, mother Tammy Strickland Spaugh, grandmother Carmon Roldan, brothers Johnnie Huggins (Sandy), Adam Huggins (Tonda), Joshua Soto (Emily), Dustin Soto (Ashley), and sister Jackie DeSilva (Aaron). In-laws Ken and Amelia Cranford. Many nieces, nephews, uncles, and aunts, along with so many friends. 

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 6:00 pm at Central Carolina Community Church (C-4), 1128 North Fayetteville Street in Asheboro with Pastor Ed Arroyo and Pastor Garry Reeder officiating.
