Arvin Dawson Nelson

Arvin Dawson Nelson, age 76, of Randleman died Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. Nelson was born August 12, 1937 in Taylor County, Kentucky. Arvin was a very loving person and the glue that held the family together. He had a great sense of humor and a good mechanical mind. Arvin enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing and playing computer games. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Mameline Nelson; brother, Ben Ervin Nelson. He is survived by his sisters: Joyce Rodriquez of Ga., Bonnie Swaim and Lucille Page both of Randleman; 9 nieces and nephews; 3 great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 1:00 - 1:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The graveside service will follow at 2:00 at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro.
