Arthur Stuart

Charles Arthur Stuart, age 91, of Asheboro died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. Stuart was a native of Randolph County and was an Army veteran of WWII. He enjoyed hunting and raising beagles and coon hounds as a hobby. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Dorsett Stuart whom he married on October 27, 1944; daughter, Jill T. Stuart of Asheboro; sons, Warren A. Stuart of Clayton, Jeffrey B. Stuart of Asheboro; sister, Esther S. Presnell of Raleigh; granddaughter, Storm B. Stuart of Clayton. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 23, 2012 from 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro.
