Arthur Bryan Miller

Arthur Bryan Butter Miller age 89, of 728 Westmont Drive, Asheboro died Sunday, May 6, 2001 at his home.

Mr. Miller was a native of Asheboro and the son of the late Arthur McLauren Miller and Gertrude Redding Branson. He was a member of First United Methodist Church where he served on the Administrative Board. He worked for the half-hose division of Burlington Industries for 35 years as Purchasing Agent. He was a member of the Asheboro Rotary Club where he was a Paul Harris Fellow.

He is survived by wife: Mary Lib Stevens Miller; sister: Christine Gray of Asheboro, NC; daughter: Caroline Strong of Baltimore, MD; Daughter and Son-in-law: Elizabeth & Dennis Slate of St Augustine, FL; Daughter and Son-in-law: Mary Bryan & Randall L Russell of Winston-Salem, NC; 4 Grandchildren; 2 Step-grandchildren; 1 Great-grandchild; 4 Step-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 224 North Fayetteville Street, Asheboro with Dr. Boyd Stokes and Dr. J.C. Grose, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service in the church parlor.
