Arlie B. (A.B.) Freeman, Jr, age 73, of 241 Corbett Rd, Troy died Sunday, November 9, 2008 at his home. Mr. Freeman was born January 16, 1935 in Randolph County, NC, the son Arlie B and Kate (Russell) Freeman. Although born in Randolph County, Mr. Freeman lived most of his life in the Troy area. He was the owner/operator of Biscoe Tin Shop for many years. He is survived by his wife: Virginia (Jenny) Callicutt Freeman of the home; two daughters: Ann F. Greene and Jane F. Lynthacum, both of Troy; one son: Donald Wayne Freeman of Southport; two sisters: Verlie Hogan of Troy, Edith Thompson of Rockingham; and 5 grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 11, 2008 from 7-9 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; other times at the home. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Troy Pentecostal Holiness Church, Bilhen Street, Troy, with Rev. Neil Pressley officiating. Burial will be in Callicutt Chapel Wesleyan Church Cemetery, Horseshoe Bend Rd., Troy. Memorials may be directed to Community Home Care & Hospice, 120 N.
