Archie Ronald Dawkins

Archie Dawkins, age 59, of 3055 Elk Rd., Randleman died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Mr. Dawkins was a native of Randolph County and attended Randleman High School. Archie was a retired electrician and was of christian faith who lived by the golden rule. He was a loving and generous man who will be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by one son: Casper Dawkins and his wife Sherry of Climax; one daughter: Brianna Dawkins of Winston- Salem; mother Betty Dawkins Johnson and her husband John of High Point; one sister: Libby Priddy and her husband Alan of Thomasville; three brothers: David Dawkins and his wife Kathy of High Point, Kenny Dawkins of Randleman, and Dale (Butch)Dawkins and his wife Penny of Asheboro; grandchildren: Matthew and Aileen Dawkins and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Wade Craven officiating. Burial will be at Liberty Road Baptist Church Cemetery.
