Annie Marie Linthicum

Annie Marie Trogdon Linthicum, age 89, of Randleman died Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Linthicum was born December 8, 1925 the daughter of Homer and Nancy Trogdon. Marie was a native of Randolph County and graduated from Randleman High School. She retired from Laughlin Hosiery in Randleman. Marie was a devout Christian who loved her church people and her family. She enjoyed reading the Bible and Bible commentaries and loved telling people about the Lord and helping Christians grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. In addition to her parents, Marie is preceded in death by her husband Warren C. Linthicum, brothers: H.E., Jr. and Robert Trogdon; sisters: Aggie Hayes and Lucille Barnes. She is survived by her sons: W.C. Linthicum, Jr. and his wife Jan of Randleman, Steven Linthicum of Randleman; grandchildren, Sharon Sharpe and her husband Jesse of Asheboro, Lisa Stanley and her husband Michael of Thomasville, Christian Clark and her husband Frank of Randleman, Jonathan Linthicum and his wife Felicia of Asheboro; great grandchildren, Curtis Stanley and wife Stacie, Steven Stanley, Joseph Stanley, Abbie Sharpe, Lillee Sharpe and Alex Clark; Brother: Elwood Trogdon and his wife Mary of Archdale; sister-in-law Betty Linthicum of Sophia. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 2:00-2:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the Chapel, with Rev. Barry Wall and Rev. Brian Faircloth officiating. Burial will be held Monday, September 21, 2015 at 11:00 am at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
