Annie Grace Blackmon Grantham, 84, went home to be with the Lord on May 13, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Furman Blackmon and Macie Ruth Woodell Blackmon, brother Henry Furman Blackmon, Jr., husband Buford Jennings Grantham, and her infant son Nathan Grantham.
She is survived by her 10 children, Buford Jennings Grantham, Jr., John Daniel Grantham, Jacob Benjamin Grantham, David Jesse Grantham and wife Cynthia, Samuel James Grantham and wife Ruth, Deborah Anne Grantham, Rachel Annette Loflin and husband Scott, Sarah Alice Voliva and husband Jim, Rebekah Rose Grantham, and Joseph Levi Grantham; 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Macie Ruth Blackmon Schweigert of Asheboro, NC and sons Robert and Andrew, Sally Estridge of Lancaster, SC, and ClaraNell Robinson of Lancaster, SC; brothers, George Blackmon of Aynor, SC and Ronnie Blackmon of Lancaster, SC.
After high school Anne was hired for the Accounts Receivable Department for seven plants of Spring Mills in Lancaster, SC. Anne retired as the Director of the Randolph County Senior Adult Day Center after 26 years of service.
A private family graveside service will be held at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Hartsville, SC.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions should be made to the Randolph County Senior Adult Association, 347 W. Salisbury St., Asheboro, NC 27203.
