Annie Ollie McGeorge Gibson from Ramseur, NC and formerly of Roanoke, VA, 86, born October 1, 1930, arrived at the pearly gates on August 28, 2017.

Ms. Gibson was retired from Pacific Fabric Group in Vinton, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elliott Fuqua and Orpha Dennison McGeorge, and her husband, Sam Gibson.

Surviving are her children, Linda Ayers of Danville, VA, Martha McGeorge of Vinton, VA, Pam Mills and husband Mike of Ramseur, David Gibson and wife Sonya of Roanoke, VA, Eddie Gibson and wife Judy of Roanoke, VA, and Jennifer Naumann of Roanoke, VA; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sisters, Vivian Roach of Rockfort, FL and Bertha Lynch of Roanoke, VA.

The family wants to thank the Randolph Cancer Center and Hospice House of Asheboro as well as her caretakers for the care and concern given to Annie.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 12:00-1:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro and other times at her daughter's home. A graveside service will follow on Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Whites Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1815 Low Bridge Rd., Liberty with Pastor Rick Wilkie officiating.

Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the Gibson family.
