Annie Mae Goins Butcher

Annie Mae Goins Butcher, age 78, of 1769 Brittany Trail, Pleasant Garden died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Butcher was born May 3, 1934 the daughter of Harvey and Nannie Willard Goins. Mrs. Butcher was a native of Stokes County and formerly employed with Thomasville Furniture. She was preceded in death by a son: Gary Jenkins and a stepson: Jeff Butcher. She is survived by her husband: Harvey Butcher of the home, sons: Billy Jenkins of Staley, Tommy Jenkins and Eddie Jenkins both of Ramseur; daughters: Barbara Dickerson of Pleasant Garden and Betty Loflin of Franklinville; stepsons: Eddie Butcher of Seagrove, Mike Butcher of Lexington and Randy Butcher of Grantville; stepdaughter: Karen Butcher of Randleman; 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at the residence. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro, NC 27203 with Rev. Mike Barrett officiating.
