Annie Spencer Barker

Annie Spencer Barker, age 90, of Climax died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation in Asheboro. Mrs. Barker was born December 26, 1921 in Trinity, NC, the daughter of the late Archie Monroe and Martha Jane Davis Spencer. Mrs. Barker was was a member of Providence Friends Meeting. She was a former school teacher and had worked with the E.F. Craven Company in Greensboro. She is survived by her husband, George Barker, daughter, Susan Barker of Climax, Sisters, Laura Allred of Pleasant Garden and Ruby Henley of Jonesboro, GA, Brother, Herman Spencer of Shallotte, NC, and close friend, Clarence Reynolds of Pleasant Garden. A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, February 21 at 2:00 PM at Providence Friends Meeting Cemetery, 2054 Providence Church Road, Pleasant Garden with Rev. Brandon Dockery officiating.
