Annie Hancock Baldwin, age 90, of 106 Mountain Vista Rd., Denton died Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Mountain Vista Health Park, Denton.Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Ziegler and Rev. Billy Jarrett officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.Mrs. Baldwin was a native of Moore County and a graduate of Westmoore High School. She was a member of Asheboro Friends Meeting and retired from Belk-Yates Department Store. Mrs. Baldwin was fascinated by wildflowers and poetry and was an avid reader. Annie is preceded in death by her husband: William Tryon Baldwin.She is survived by her sons: W. T. "Bill" Baldwin and his wife Jane of Denton; Van D. Baldwin of Ann Arbor, MI; grandchildren: Katherine Dale Miller of Asheboro; Ty Baldwin of Brooklyn, NY; Peri Gearren of Asheboro and Amanda Patterson of Asheboro; and one sister: Mary Cagle of Seagrove.The family will receive friends Saturday, February 28, 2009 from 10 -11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at the home of Bill and Jane Baldwin, 7643 Farmer-Denton Rd., Denton.Memorials may be made to Mountain Vista Health Park, P.O.
