Annette Purvis Wansley, age 50, of 6406 Scott McDowell Dr., Asheboro died Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston- Salem.Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 11:00 am at Eleazer United Methodist Church with Rev. Jesse Club and Rev. Derald Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.Mrs. Wansley was a native of Randolph County, a homemaker and a member of Eleazer United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Purvis. Mrs. Wansley loved life, people and collecting dolls.She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Wansley; children, "Bo" Wansley and his wife Aimee of Asheboro, Keisha Hutto of Asheboro, Heath Wansley and his wife Crystal of Asheboro, Joshua Wansley and his wife Lorri of Star; 12 grandchildren; mother, Jearl Purvis of Asheboro; brother, Joey Purvis of Asheboro; sister, Donna Miller of Asheboro; mother and father-in-law, Myrtle and Gaines Wansley of Asheboro.The family will receive friends Friday, May 8, 2009 from 6 - 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
