Anne Shaver Cain

Anne Shaver Cain, age 75, of Asheboro passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Autumn Care Nursing & Rehabilitation in Biscoe.

Mrs. Cain was born in Carthage, NC on April 13, 1942 to Floyd and Isla Livengood Shaver. She was formerly employed with Wachovia Bank and retired from Randolph Hospital after 25 years as a Registered Nurse. Anne was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her brothers, Gilbert and Dennis Shaver and sister, Jeanette Crouse. Anne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She loved serving the community as a dedicated RN.

She is survived by her husband, James Ronald Cain, Sr.; daughter, Annette Yates and husband Roger of Asheboro; son, James Ronald Cain, Jr. and wife Laura of Asheboro; grandchildren, Amy Yates, Dale Yates, and Makenzie Clark-Cain all of Asheboro; sisters, Dolores Howell of Oakboro and Judy Harrington of Carthage; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 12:00-2:15 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Sunday at 2:30 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Mason officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Memorial Gardens.
