Anne Andrew

Anne Furey Andrew, 77, of Apex, NC was born in Middletown, NY to Col Harry D Furey and Adelia (Jeff) Jefferson Furey. She made her transition on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Randolph Hospice House. She graduated from St Genevieve's of the Pines in Asheville, NC. Mrs. Andrew was a graduate of Bryn Mawr College. She worked in Personnel for Katherine Gibbs and other large companies in New York. Anne worked for Fellowship Hall and Oakleigh. She and her husband owned an employment agency and she retired from Wake County ATC. Mrs. Andrew was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Charles D Andrew. She is survived by her sister Carol Matney (Ted), brother-in-law Mitch Andrew (Claudette), nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Apex Cemetery (#166). A reception will follow at Apex Community Center.
