Anna Grose Pugh passed away at the age of 79, on February 15, 2019 at Clapp’s Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 18, at Bethel Friends Meeting with the Reverend Ben Hurley officiating.
Anna was born in Franklinville, NC on February 21, 1939. Anna was the daughter of Russell and Dorothy Grose. She worked as a legal secretary for many years and thoroughly enjoyed her work and the many fine people she worked with and came in contact with. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending their many sporting events. She also was heavily involved with church activities when she was physically able.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, James Wallace Pugh and great granddaughter Kensley.
Surviving are her children, Jimmy (Marci) of Georgia, Sharon Tucker and husband Tim, Pam Knowles, grandchildren, Jeremy, Joshua and wife Mary, Brandon Tucker (April), great-grandchildren, Peyton, Riley, Cason, Caleb and Hunter; brothers, Bob (Jean) Grose and Steve (Brenda) Grose.
The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at Bethel Friends Meeting.
