Anna Poole Delk

Anna Poole Delk, age 69, of 5205 US Highway 64 West, Asheboro died Saturday, September 27, 2008 at her home. A loving mother and wife, Mrs. Delk was co-founder and president of Delk's Army-Navy Surplus. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Georgia Poole, and brother Joe Poole. She is survived by her husband: Dempsey Delk: and two sons: William Delk and his wife Cynthia of Asheboro, NC, Frank Delk and his wifeTammy of Asheboro, NC; grandson, Chip Lee Delk of Raleigh, NC; grandson, Jason Astor Delk of Asheboro, NC; granddaughter, Jessica Nicole Delk of Asheboro, NC; grandson, Noah Franklin Delk of Asheboro, NC; and niece, Karen Cole of Asheboro, NC. The graveside funeral will be Monday, September 29th at 2:00 at Piney Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, 7594 Jackson Creek Road, Denton with Rev. Benny Clodfelter officiating.
