Ann McCaskill

Ann McCaskill, age 86, of Randleman, died Friday, December 7, 2012 at the Randolph Hospice House. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Mt Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery, 119 West River Dr., Randleman with Rev. Bobby McCaskill and Rev. Carol Hunter officiating. Miss McCaskill was born on June 29, 1926 to Edward Alexander and Ellie Graves McCaskill. She was formerly employed with A.J. Schnierson Company and was retired from Tie-Rite Neckware. Ann was a lifelong member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters Charles McCaskill, Sr., Edna McCaskill, Irene M. Ragsdale, James McCaskill, John McCaskill, Helen M. Highfill, Cletus M. Spencer, Jewell M. McDaniel, 2 infant sisters, and nephew Charles McCaskill, Jr. Ann enjoyed word puzzles, embroidery, and most of all Christmas. For many years she hosted Christmas Open House for family and friends. She had a deep faith in God and loved her family and friends very much. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Sally H. Salley, with whom she made her home for the past three years, Judy Hilliard, Ruth Anne McGowan of Perry, GA, Jesse Ragsdale of Greensboro, Charlene Burke of Greensboro, Ellis Jane Ragsdale of Wake Forest, Patsy Self of Greensboro, Evon Ensley of Burlington, Jimmy McCaskill of Randleman, Gary McCaskill of Randleman, Shelia Williamson of Greensboro, John McCaskill of Randleman, Rev. Bobby McCaskill of Winston-Salem, Sandy and Betty Spencer of Florida, and several great, great great, and great great great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204-0009 or Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 119 W. River Drive, Randleman, NC 27317
