Annella Thompson "Ann" Lovette, age 84, of 939 Cliff Rd., Asheboro died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Randolph Hospital.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Proctor Cemetery, Parkton, NC with Rev. Benn Fleming officiating.
Mrs. Lovette was born in St. Pauls, NC on September 14, 1925 to Mary Davis Thompson and Glen Thompson. She worked in Kinston at Glen Raven for 17 years, then for Dupont for 12 years. In her free time she loved to play cards, especially "Set Back". In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lovette was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lovette, brothers, Henry, Earl and Dewey Thompson and half brother, Lonnie Kelly.
She is survived by her daughter, Pattie Stepbach and her husband Marc of Brooksville, FL; son, Braxton Lovette and his wife Gale of Randleman, NC; grandchildren, Jay Montgomery of Ramseur, NC, Brad Montgomery of Rockford, IL, and Brandon Stepbach of Portland, TN; great grandchildren, Baylee Montgomery and Braxton Montgomery both of Ramseur, NC, and Kameron Stepbach of Portland, TN; special friend and companion, Jack Curlee of Oakboro, NC; and sister, Louetta Turner of Asheboro, NC.
The family will receive friends at Mrs. Lovette's home on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 4:00-7:00 PM.
