Ann Parris Lineberry, 84, of Randleman, passed away on March 5, 2016. She was born on September 30, 1931 in Erwin, Tennessee, daughter of the late Oliver Boyd and Florrie Woodham Parris. She moved to Randolph County as a teenager, and graduated from Randleman High School. Ann was a former member of New Salem United Methodist Church, she loved her family, listening to music, and playing cards.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Fred M. Lineberry; brothers: Reed, Warren, Roger, and Troy Parris; sisters: Irene Parris Clubb, Charlotte Parris Ogletree, and Betty Parris Davis; granddaughter: Sarah Lineberry Bowman.
She is survived by sons: Roger Lineberry and his wife, Mary Ann of Greer, South Carolina, Tommy Lineberry and his wife Denise of Pleasant Garden, granddaughter Tori Lineberry and her husband, James Collins; granddaughter: Susan Lineberry, and sister: Brenda Parris Treants.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro with Rev. Joyce Bunn officiating.
