Anita Bulla Cox, age 69, of Asheboro died Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the Randolph Hospice House.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at West Bend United Methodist Church, 1080 Albemarle Road, Asheboro with Rev. Drew McIntyre officiating.
Mrs. Cox was born in Asheboro on May 23, 1945 to Kenneth and Clara Routh Bulla. She was a 1963 graduate of Asheboro High School and as 1965 graduate of Lees-McRae Junior College. In 1966, Anita served her internship in Medical Records at Forsyth Medical Center and was retired as the Administrative Assistant to the President at High Point Regional Hospital. Anita was a member of West Bend United Methodist Church. Of utmost importance to Anita was her family, especially sitting in the bleachers watching her grandkids play baseball.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. David Cox; daughter, Suzannah Baxley Pegram of High Point; son, Jeffrey Cox of High Point; grandsons, Samuel Baxley and Maxton Pegram; sister, Dinah Kirby of Emerald Isle; and brother, Kenneth "Sonny" Bulla, Jr. of Pigeon Forge, TN.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro.
