Ana Lia Sanchez Salas

Ana Lia Sanchez Salas, age 73, of Asheboro passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Randolph Hospice House. Mrs. Salas was born in San Jose, Costa Rica on January 23, 1944 to Asdrubal Sanchez Sanchez and Rafaela Serrano Rivas. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. Ana was a loving wife and mother, and an awesome grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Carlos E. Salas of the home; daughter s, Jacqueline Cruz and husband Joanny Cruz and Jeanine Salas and husband Max Ramirez all of Asheboro; grandchildren, Kylie Ramirez, Kasey Ramirez, Max Ramirez, Jamal Bolanos, Lexi Cruz, and Joseph Cruz; sister:,Elizabeth Rhazwill of Costa Rica; and brother. Jorge Sanchez Serrano of Costa Rica. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am at St Joseph Catholic Church, 512 W. Wainman Ave., Asheboro where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Philip Kollithanath. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
