ASHEBORO--Amelia Page Williams Parris, age 60, of Asheboro passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. Mrs. Parris was born in Charlotte, NC on November 16, 1956 to John and Amelia Page Williams. Page was a homemaker and had worked at Mt. Shepherd Camp for a few years. Page loved her sons and enjoyed doing crafts. Page was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband, Andy Parris; sons, Carson Parris and Carolyn Rhoney of Greensboro, Taylor Parris and fiancée Amy Thomas of Charlotte; grandchildren, Tristan and Anthony; mother, Amy P. Williams of Asheboro; sister, Troyann Williams of Asheboro; and brother, John "Tad" Williams and wife Brenda of Concord. The funeral will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Connie Weaver officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. A private burial will be held. Memorials may be made to the Randolph SPCA, 300 W. Bailey St., Asheboro, NC 27203.
