Alma Robbins Wilkerson

Alma Robbins Wilkerson, age 87, of Asheboro died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Randolph Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park. Mrs. Wilkerson was born in Montgomery County on May 10, 1925 to Ervin Clyde and Neely Cagle Robbins. In addition to her parents, Alma was preceded in death by her husband Roy Wilkerson, sisters Mabel Little, Nellie Wooten, Merlene Dorsett, and brother Clark Robbins. Alma enjoyed cooking and gardening. She is survived by her daughters, Beulah Mae Hunt of Randleman, Kay Wilkerson of Asheboro; sons, Ben Wilkerson and his wife Alice of Asheboro, Jimmy Wilkerson of Asheboro, Gene Wilkerson of Asheboro; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Paige Robbins and his wife Linda of Asheboro; and sister, Connie Hulin of Asheboro. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
