Alma Spillman Turner

Alma Spillman Turner, age 92, of Randleman, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Mrs. Turner was born in Stokes County, a resident of Randolph County, and a member of Old Union United Methodist Church since 1935. She was both a homemaker and dairy farmer (with her late husband Charles) for many years. Recently she enjoyed spending summers at Badin Lake with her family. Mrs. Turner is preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Turner, four brothers and one sister. Survivors are daughters and son-in-law, Lovier and Jack Stephens of Randleman, Delores and Woody Robbins of Randleman, Brenda and Harvey Lewis of Greenville, Artence and Jack Freeman of Wilmington; sister Marjorie Adams of Randleman; Grandchildren, Ricky Frazier, Rhonda Toomes, Robin Parrish, Craig Frazier, Sherry Taylor, Kristy Thompson, Charles Lewis, Julie Fagundus and Cindy Rodriguez; Great Grandchildren: Trey Parrish, Lynsi Faircloth, Tracy Parrish, Jodi Toomes, Kerri Beth Frazier, Terri Lane Frazier, Tamara Frazier, Adam Frazier, Lane Frazier, Courtney Taylor, Cole Taylor, Chase Culler, Chea Culler, Ridge Lewis, Claire Lewis, Turner Fagundus, Wyatt Fagundus and Carly Fagundus; Great-Great Grandchildren: Houston Parrish, Skylar Faircloth, Brooke Parrish and Colbie Faircloth.A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Old Union United Methodist Church Cemetery, 5077 Old Walker Mill Rd., Sophia, NC. with Rev. Keith Auman officiating.
