Alma Jordan Lowdermilk

Alma Jordan Lowdermilk, age 82, of Asheboro died Friday, March 28, 2008 at Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Richard Crider and Dr. Ronnie Chaney officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Mrs. Lowdermilk was a lifelong resident of Asheboro and was formerly employed with Bost Neckwear. She attended Oakhurst Baptist Church and Cross Road Baptist Church. Alma was a volunteer for the American Red Cross at Randolph Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville J. Lowdermilk, her parents, Carley and Nora Cornelison Jordan, and her brother, Everette Jordan. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Davis and her husband Larry of Star, NC; son, Jimmy Lowdermilk and his wife Cathryn of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Gloria Davis of Asheboro, NC; , Alisa Perryman and her husband Neil of Star, NC; Josh Lowdermilk and his wife Jennifer of Holly Springs, NC; and Zack Lowdermilk of Asheboro, NC; great grandchildren, Larry Perryman and Stephanie Perryman both of Star, NC; brothers, Ray Jordan and his wife Lois of Greensboro, NC; Harold Jordan of Ocean Springs, MS; sister, Grace Hill of Asheboro, NC and sister-in-law, Susan Burroughs of Raleigh, NC. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 29, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
