Alice Faye Woods

Alice Faye Woods, age 73, of Sophia died Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Woods was born November 22, 1939 the daughter of Louis Grady and Etta Hemphill. Alice was a native of Davidson County and was retired from Rampon. She is survived by her husband of 54 years: Donald Woods of the home; daughter: Etta Faye Fair of Elizabethton, TN; sons: Donald Woods, II of Sophia, Joel Wayne Woods of Carolina Beach and Joel Glenn Woods of Sophia; 7 grandchildren; sisters: Helen Yarborough and her husband Horace of Lexington, Gladys Jones and her husband Enoch of TX., and Carol Ringley and her husband Don of Lincolnton, NC. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 1:00 - 1:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Billy Britt officiating.
