Alice Cole Voncannon

Alice Cole Voncannon, age 90, of 2382 Old Humble Mill Road, Asheboro died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Neil C. Poole officiating. Burial will follow at Spoons Chapel Christian Church Cemetery. Mrs. Voncannon was a native of Randolph County and was retired from Bossong Hosiery. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ida Auman Cole, husband, Nolan Voncannon and daughter, Linda Cain. She is survived by sons, Kermit Voncannon and his wife Michael of Owls Head, ME, Larry Voncannon and his wife Carrie of Asheboro; grandchildren, Jeff Cain, Kevin Cain, David Voncannon, Amy Stone; great grandchildren, Kasey, Paison and Fallon Cain, Devon and Jake Voncannon; Alexa and Zachary Stone; sister, Grace Scott of Seagrove. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 12, 2011 from 6 to 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
