Alice Virginia McCray

Alice McCray, 81, of E. Academy St., Asheboro. She fell asleep in death November 1, 2011 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Goines & Azilee McCray of Summerton, SC the sixth of seven children. She was born April 23, 1930. She graduated from Scotch Branch High School 1949. She was dearly loved & best known for her love of people and teaching others Bible truths in her door to door ministry since 1951. She was a member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to all who had a share in caring for her especially through these past few weeks. She is survived by one sister Lou Jane Maitland of Bronx, NY and one brother: Ezekial McCray of Bronx, NY. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2011, at 1:30 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4336 Highway 64 East, Asheboro, NC.
