Albert Franklin "Frankie" Scott

Albert Franklin "Frankie" Scott, age 67, of Troy died Friday, August 23, 2019 at Carolinas Healthcare System Albemarle, NC.

Mr. Scott was born March 29, 1952 in Montgomery County, the son of the late Ervin Alton Scott and Helen Presnell Scott. He had worked as a fixer in the textile industry for 10 years.

Frankie loved fishing, restoring classic cars, and Drag Racing. He was known as a jokester and enjoyed talking to everyone. He was a very loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He is survived by daughters: Kim Scott of Troy, and Sherry Scott (Terry)Little of Troy, NC and one son: Phillip Scott (Annie) of Troy, NC; grandchildren: Damien Scott, Brittany Scott, Kelly Scott, Richard Scott, Trenton Scott, Ray Knight, Eli Callicutt and Grayson Callicutt; great grandchildren: Zyrion Moore, Nasyah Scott, and Kayden Scott; mother of his children: Phyllis Scott; companion: Carolyn Callicutt; sisters: Peggy Harden of Troy, NC and Frances Dunn (Alvin) of Eleazer, NC; brother: Richard Scott (Roxanne) of Mt. Gilead, NC. He was predeceased by his brothers: Pete Scott, George Scott, Ricky Scott, Johnny Scott, Charles Scott, and Mike Scott.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home Chapel, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC. The funeral will follow at 3:00 PM with Rev. Brantley Moore officiating. Burial will be in Leach Cemetery, Star, NC.
