Albert Warren Freeman

Albert Warren Freeman, age 76, of Randleman died Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro.

A native of Randolph County, the son of William Lewis Freeman and Judith Sanders Freeman, Warren was predeceased by his wife Stacy in 2006. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed restoring old cars. He was formerly employed at Carolina Steel in Greensboro but retired from United Brass Works in Randleman. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by a sister, Lela Ann White.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home for the very special care Warren received there.

He is survived by his daughter: Tammy Delk and her husband Frank of Asheboro, NC, son: Tim Freeman and his wife Shonda of Asheboro, NC, three grandchildren, Emma Freeman, Jessica Delk and Noah Delk all of Asheboro, twin brother, William Freeman of Charleston, SC, brother: Jesse Freeman of Sebastian, FL, three sisters: Susan Brown of Randleman, NC, Sarah Bennett of Summerfield, SC and Dot Lambe of Asheboro, NC.

The family will receive friends Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be Monday, October 29, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Pierce officiating.. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
